uniMIND Lecture Series
Every month we gather to watch together a video-recorded lecture from MIND Foundation's archive such as lecture recordings from the INSIGHT Conferences, and other educational material offered by MIND.
The themes are chosen and posted every month, and are followed by our Journal Club meeting 2 weeks later. It's highly recommended to attend the lectures to gain background regarding the upcoming journal club discussion to help you better participate in the discussion and understand the presented paper.
The Lecture Series is also great place for members to deepen their knowledge in the field and expand their horizons, without necessarily committing to the deeper dives of the journal club discussions.
uniMIND Academic Journal Clubs
The journal club is the core of our community - we meet on a monthly basis, usually two-weeks after the lecture series, to present and discuss a paper on a related theme.
The presenter is a volunteer who attends our journal clubs, and anyone is welcome to present a paper of their choosing, regardless of their previous experience.
Advanced reading of the chosen material is expected, and active participation in the discussion is highly encouraged.
The presentation is usually preceded by a brief overview of the subject, and is followed by an open discussion. We are eager to hear your unique perspectives in our diverse environment.
uniMIND Community Meetings
Our monthly community meetings are casual meetups where members gather for socializing, sharing interesting projects, and discussing various topics around psychedelics in a laid-back environment.
These are perfect for new members who would like to learn more about our activities, find ways to get involved, or simply networking with like-minded individuals.
Check out our calendar or social media for the nearest gathering.
Additional events by MIND, and setting up your own uniMIND
uniMIND Central Sessions
The monthly uniMIND Central Sessions are online webinars, coordinated similarly to the regular journal clubs, and are open to anyone who is interested from the general public.
The recorded interview (1-2h) features a guest speaker - usually a researcher in the field. It follows the structure of the paper, and provides an excellent opportunity for participants to hear from the original author of the presented work, ask questions, and contribute to the discussion.
The details are posted regularly on MIND Foundation's website and social media, and we often share it on our platforms as well.
Are you or someone you know involved in research and would like to be featured on the Central Sessions; OR would you like to host a session of your own and practice interviewing a guest on the webinar?
Contact us and we will make it happen!
Other Events and Webinars
Apart from the uniMIND Central Sessions, MIND Foundation regularly holds online lectures, panel discussions, and symposiums. They are available on the MIND Foundation website and we usually share them on our platforms.
